FACTORY STANDARD / Roxy R1
Re-introducing the Roxy.
At the heart of the Roxy is Mahogany, a tonewood renowned for its warm, resonant qualities. It's paired with a uniquely angled Ormsby Hot Rock bridge pickup, a carefully engineered design that optimises tonal balance across all strings. The positioning brings the pickup closer to the neck on the lower strings and nearer the bridge on the higher strings, giving you harmonic cohesion and a dynamic response tailored to each note.
Players can also opt for a Floyd Rose Original 1000 in either flush-mount or recessed configuration, giving you the expressive pitch control that only a proper tremolo system can deliver. The Roxy adapts to your playing style whether you want controlled dive-only action or the full range of a recessed system.

About the Factory Standard range
The Factory Standard range is our first ever production series hand-built by our own team in Perth, Western Australia. It bridges the gap between a production-series price point and the premium feel of a true custom-shop instrument. Unlike our Factory Custom and CustomShop guitars, Factory Standard models keep customisation focused: you choose colour, string count, and bridge type, and our luthiers handle the rest to ensure consistency and quality across every build.
Customisation options
Colour, fretboard, and a few finish upgrades are yours to choose. Everything else is handled by our team to keep the quality consistent.

Pickup / Hot Rock (Bridge)
The Roxy R1 runs a single Hot Rock in the bridge, angled to optimise tonal balance across all six strings. It's a deliberate choice: one pickup, one voice, no clutter.
A moderate to high output humbucker designed for blues, rock, punk, and metal. Overwound mismatched coils drive the front end of your amp hard, with the AlNiCo 8 magnet keeping the lows tight and controlled. It stays defined under gain and holds its place in a dense mix without getting loose or fizzy. On the Roxy the angled placement pulls extra definition from the lower strings while keeping the top end bright and present.
Modern rock and metal rhythm, tight palm-mutes, punchy leads, and single-pickup players who want one great voice rather than a compromise.
Driving mids, controlled lows, and a forward, immediate feel that holds its shape as gain increases.
The Factory Standard Roxy R1 is hand-built in Perth for players who demand inspiration in every note, and a guitar that gets out of the way and lets you play.
