We ship worldwide from our workshop in Perth, Western Australia.

Processing Times

In-stock items are usually dispatched within 5-10 business days.

Pre-orders and custom builds require additional production time. Estimated completion dates are listed on the product page or confirmed by email once your order is in progress.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped using trusted carriers with full tracking.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has shipped.

Delivery times vary depending on your location. International orders typically take 7–21 business days after dispatch.

Duties & Import Taxes

Our prices do not include import duties or taxes for orders shipped outside Australia. Any duties, import taxes (such as VAT or GST) and courier handling fees are set by your country's customs authority. You pay them to the courier when your order arrives, and the courier will contact you before delivery to arrange payment.

The amount depends on your country and on where your guitar was built. CustomShop, Factory Standard and Kaseki guitars are built in Australia. GTR runs and DC Signature models are built in South Korea. GTI guitars are built in Indonesia. Each country has different trade agreements, so the duty rate can differ by model. In the United States, state sales tax may also apply.

Smaller orders such as pickups, hardware and strings may also attract duty, import tax and a courier fee, because many countries have reduced or removed their low value exemptions.

We declare the full value and true country of origin on every shipment. We cannot mark orders as gifts or declare a lower value.

If duties are not paid and the parcel is returned to us, return shipping and any charges incurred will be deducted from your refund.

Insurance & Responsibility

All guitars are shipped fully insured. Once your order has been dispatched, Ormsby Guitars is not responsible for delays, carrier errors, or customs processing times. Please contact the carrier directly if your parcel is delayed after leaving our facility.

Shipping Costs

We offer free worldwide shipping on all guitars, fully insured and tracked to Major Cities.

A small number of remote or hard-to-reach destinations are classified by our carriers as remote areas, where limited logistics routes mean an additional carrier surcharge applies. This affects only a very small percentage of orders - if your address falls into one of these zones, we’ll contact you before dispatch to confirm the cost. No surprises.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact orders@ormsbyguitars.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and instrument. We’ll help you file an insurance claim or arrange a repair/replacement where appropriate.

Multiple Items

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately depending on stock and production timelines.
