Making its official debut at NAMM 2023, we’re proud to introduce the Factory Standard Range — our first-ever Australian production series, built entirely by our talented in-house team in Perth, Western Australia.

This range represents the ultimate Ormsby hybrid: combining the accessibility of a production guitar with the attention to detail, playability, and craftsmanship you’d expect from a custom build.

The Factory Standard range functions similarly to our GTR line, with one key difference — these are constructed right here in Australia. Simply select your preferred model, secure your deposit, and your guitar will be batch made-to-order by our Aussie team within the estimated timeframe below.

Note: Unlike our Factory Custom and CustomShop models, the Factory Standard range offers no additional customisation beyond colour, string count, and bridge type.

The first Factory Standard lineup features our popular Hypemachine model, available in three distinct tiers:

Overview

The Factory Standard Hypemachine H2 sits in the middle of our three-tier range. Each model features a transparent finish over Swamp Ash body with a black headstock, Roasted Maple bolt-on neck, and Wenge fretboard. Outfitted with our signature black Ormsby hardware and Blizzard / Concordia pickup combination, this model strikes the perfect balance between articulation, warmth, and power.

Deposit: $350 AUD — Remainder due at completion
Estimated Completion: Approximately 3 months after finalising your order.

Your deposit secures your Factory Standard build allocation. When your guitar is ready, our team will contact you via email to finalise:

• Any remaining balance
• Shipping — $75 AUD within Australia / $200–$250 AUD worldwide
• Optional merchandise (t-shirts, hats, jumpers, etc.)

*This is a non-refundable deposit that secures your Factory Standard build allocation. Remaining payment + shipping is due at completion. You’ll have 14 days to finalise payment after completion; beyond that, storage fees ($10 AUD/day) may apply, or the instrument may be resold.
