AUSSIE PRODUCTION / Hypemachine
Cherry Burst · 6 String · S/N 0033
Part of our Aussie Production range, handmade entirely by our Australian team in Perth. It's the Ormsby hybrid done properly, the value and consistency of a production platform with the craftsmanship and feel that should still matter.
This is a completed, serialised instrument, S/N 0033, built in-house by Perry & Alex. What you see is what ships: a finished Hypemachine in a deep, glowing Cherry Burst, ready to go to its first owner.
Each build features a Mahogany body with a premium Flame Maple drop top and matching headstock, a 5-piece Maple / Wenge bolt-on neck, Ebony fretboard, black hardware, and our proven Blizzard bridge and Concordia neck pickup combination.
Six String: $4,299 AUD
Why this one stands out
This is where the Aussie Production idea makes the most sense: premium visual spec, serious timber selection, and hardware that suits the platform instead of decorating it. It feels like what it is, an Australian-made Ormsby built to be used.

Pickup pairing / Blizzard + Concordia
This is a practical pairing, not a gimmick. The Blizzard gives the bridge the right amount of authority and precision, while the Concordia keeps the neck smooth, musical, and actually worth using.
The Blizzard is built for players who need their low end to stay locked in no matter how heavy things get. The ceramic magnet keeps the bass tight and punchy, with an aggressive mid presence that cuts through dense mixes without getting fizzy. Pick harmonics jump out effortlessly, and note separation stays clear even when you're fully saturated. It's not a subtle pickup, and that's the point.
Modern rock, metal, prog rhythm, aggressive bridge leads, and percussive picking.
Tight lows, fast attack, and a bridge voice that stays focused and controlled as gain rises.
The Concordia is fast becoming the go-to neck pickup across the Ormsby range. Clean and clear mids, a lush low end, and a sweet top end, and the lower output is counteracted by an AlNiCo 5 magnet, so you're never left wanting for more. Coil splitting opens up single-coil tones you wouldn't expect from a humbucker. It's the perfect contrast to the Blizzard, giving the Hypemachine a genuine second voice when you flip the toggle.
Cleans, melodic leads, warm solo work, layered parts, and expressive neck tones.
Sweet highs, open mids, and a neck voice that stays smooth and clear without going thin.
The Aussie Production Hypemachine combines premium tonewoods, hand-built precision, and Ormsby's signature playability, redefining what a production guitar can be.
