Making its official debut at NAMM 2023, the Factory Standard range marks a new milestone in the Ormsby lineup — a premium, locally built production series, handmade in Perth, Australia by our own team.

This range combines the quality and precision of our CustomShop with the accessibility of a production instrument — the perfect balance of craftsmanship and consistency.

About the Factory Standard Range

The Factory Standard series functions similarly to our GTR production range, with one key difference — these guitars are constructed entirely in-house by our Australian luthiers. Each batch is made-to-order with carefully selected tonewoods and world-class components, ensuring superior quality control from start to finish.

Unlike our Factory Custom and CustomShop instruments, there are no customizable options for this range — each model is crafted to our exact Factory Standard specifications.

The Factory Standard Hypemachine H2 is the middle tier in our three-level lineup (H1, H2, H3). Each model features a transparent finish over Swamp Ash with a black headstock, Roasted Maple bolt-on neck, and Wenge fretboard. Fitted with our trusted Ormsby hardware in black and our signature Blizzard and Concordia pickups, the H2 delivers clarity, punch, and dynamic response in every note.
