A modern multiscale workhorse with a classic finish: this Shell Pink Goliath 8 pairs a resonant, lightweight chambered Swamp Ash body with a fast bolt-on laminated Rock Maple neck and a snappy Maple fretboard.
The multiscale layout keeps the low end tight and the top end effortless, while the Hot Rock bridge humbucker and Concordia neck humbucker cover everything from punchy rhythm to smooth, articulate leads, with extra range via the push/pull control.
What makes this one special

The Hot Rock and Concordia combo is built for definition. The bridge stays tight and percussive, while the neck remains open and articulate for cleans, leads, and layered parts.
A moderate to high output humbucker designed for blues, rock, punk, and metal. Overwound mismatched coils drive the front end of your amp hard, with the AlNiCo 8 magnet keeping the lows tight and controlled — exactly what you need on an 8-string pushing extended range tuning. It stays defined under gain, keeps palm-mutes locked in, and holds its place in a dense mix without getting loose or fizzy.

Coil splitting opens up single-coil tones you wouldn't expect from a humbucker. It's the perfect contrast to the Hot Rock, giving you a genuine gear shift when you flip the toggle.
