The Nunchucker and De La Creme pairing covers serious ground. A tight, confident bridge voice for modern rhythm work, and a neck tone that stays smooth and musical. The GTR versions are wound in Korea to the same specifications as the Australian-made pickups, so you're getting the same clarity, tone, and definition.
The Nunchucker is Ormsby's most popular bridge pickup for rock, hard rock, and metal. Moderate output that's low enough to retain clarity but hot enough to drive your amplifier, with the AlNiCo 8 magnet and adjustable slug poles giving it a little extra bite. It stays present and defined whether you're pushing rhythm parts or pushing gain.
Modern rock and metal rhythm, tight palm-mutes, punchy leads, and anything that needs to cut through a dense mix.
Fast attack, controlled low end, and a bridge voice that stays present and alive under gain.
A PAF-voiced neck pickup with a little more output than a traditional old-school wind. The intro to Sweet Child of Mine. That says everything about where it sits tonally. Pairs naturally with the Nunchucker.
