GTR Hype | Dahlia Black
Small Batch Release

A small batch of Dahlia Black Hype GTRs, produced for Ormsby by Harmony Music. Dahlia Black is available in 6 and 7-string multiscale configurations.

These Hypes feature an Alder Body with a Flame Maple veneer top and white binding. The laminated Rock Maple set neck is reinforced with carbon rods and paired with an Ebony fretboard.

Jumbo stainless steel frets, Luminlay side dots, black hardware, an Ormsby Multiscale bridge, Ormsby Locking Tuners and the Hot Rock / De La Creme pickup set complete the build.

The Hot Rock and De La Creme are a pairing we know works well in the Hype. You get a stronger bridge sound for heavier playing and a warmer neck sound for leads and cleans.

The Hot Rock has plenty of output without losing definition. It keeps the low end controlled and gives riffs and leads enough midrange to stay present.

The De La Creme has a warmer, more vintage-style neck sound. It stays clear for chords and clean playing, while keeping lead tones smooth.

Warm lows, open mids and smooth highs.
