The Red/Purple Gradient Black Friday is a Perth Factory-built 6-string that blends show-stopping visuals with the tight, modern performance the Hype platform is known for. A resonant Swamp Ash body, 3-piece laminated flamed maple bolt-on neck, and Ebony fretboard deliver fast attack, strong note separation, and a snappy, articulate response.
This build is loaded with a powerful CustomShop pickup pairing: Hot Rock (Bridge) and Hybrid (Neck), a punchy, amp-driving bridge voice paired with a clear, versatile neck tone that stays usable across cleans and gain.
Why this one feels so tight
The multiscale hardtail platform gives you tuning stability and string-to-string definition. Pair that with swamp ash and a bolt-on maple neck for fast attack, and you get a Hype that feels immediate under the hands.

Pickups: punchy bridge drive and versatile neck clarity
A modern multiscale 6-string needs a bridge pickup that stays tight and authoritative, and a neck pickup that stays clear, musical, and usable. This pairing is built exactly for that — and both are wound by hand in the Perth workshop.
A moderate to high output humbucker designed for blues, rock, punk, and metal. Overwound mismatched coils drive the front end of your amp hard, with the AlNiCo 8 magnet keeping the lows tight and controlled. It stays defined under gain and holds its place in a dense mix without getting loose or fizzy. Wound by hand at the Perth workshop using 43awg wire, tightly wound and wax potted.
