The Angels & Demons Metal X is a purpose-built 7-string CustomShop instrument designed around sharp contrast, modern performance, and a stripped-back visual identity that lets the detail do the talking.
Built from Swamp Ash with a Flame Maple neck reinforced by carbon fibre, this one is made to stay stable and feel fast. The Ebony fretboard carries custom Angels & Demons laser etching, white turquoise dot inlays, and binding to tie the whole look together.
Finished in a white and black satin matte scheme, the guitar keeps the base design clean and high-contrast, while the artwork and details push it firmly into CustomShop territory. It's modern, aggressive, and properly thought through.
Control layout
This build keeps the electronics disciplined: 500k volume, treble bleed circuit, and a series / parallel switch working with a single Blizzard pickup. Fast, direct, and built for people who actually use the controls instead of collecting them.

This build is centred around a single Blizzard for a reason. The Metal X platform wants a bridge voice with enough output, cut, and low-end discipline to keep the entire instrument moving in one direction.
The Blizzard is built for players who need their low end to stay locked in no matter how heavy things get. The ceramic magnet keeps the bass tight and punchy, with an aggressive mid presence that cuts through dense mixes without getting fizzy. Pick harmonics jump out effortlessly, and note separation stays clear even when you're fully saturated. The series / parallel switch adds a second, more open texture without cluttering the layout. It's not a subtle pickup, and that's the point.
