INTRODUCING THE FACTORY STANDARD RANGE — Our first ever Australian production line of guitars, handmade in Perth, Australia.

Originally debuted at NAMM 2023, the Factory Standard Range represents the next evolution in Ormsby design — production models crafted entirely by our Australian team. These guitars combine the accessibility of our GTR series with the quality and precision normally reserved for our Custom Shop instruments.

“Black Forest Green” is a unique H3-tier prototype — the only one ever made as part of the Factory Standard development process. This 7-string model showcases the pinnacle of the range, built with premium tonewoods and the same attention to detail found in our Custom Shop builds.

Model Overview

The H3 Tier represents the highest specification within the Factory Standard series — featuring a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple veneer (including matching headstock), a 5-piece Maple / Wenge bolt-on neck, Ebony fretboard, and black Ormsby hardware. This prototype comes finished in a striking Black Forest Green gloss, highlighting the flame top beneath.

Electronics include our signature Blizzard (Ceramic) bridge and Concordia neck humbuckers, paired with 500k Volume / Tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch for full tonal flexibility. As a true one-off build, this instrument represents an exclusive piece of Ormsby history.
