Making its official debut at NAMM 2023, the Factory Standard Range represents a milestone for Ormsby — the perfect hybrid of production efficiency and Custom Shop craftsmanship. Each guitar is built in-house by our Australian luthiers, ensuring exceptional playability, precision, and tone. This series brings the feel and quality of our Custom Shop instruments to a broader audience, without compromise.

The Factory Standard H3 model is available in six or seven-string variants, and this particular instrument — finished in Dahlia Black — is a 7-string prototype, Serial No. 0032. Gigbag included in the price.

MODEL OVERVIEW

The H3 Tier stands at the top of the Factory Standard lineup. This guitar features a Mahogany body with a premium Flame Maple drop top finished in Dahlia Black gloss (including a matching headstock). It’s paired with a 5-piece Maple/Wenge bolt-on neck and an Ebony fretboard, delivering a fast, stable, and highly responsive feel under the fingers.

All hardware is custom-made by Ormsby — from the Multiscale bridge and locking machine heads to the control layout. Electronics feature our Blizzard Ceramic bridge humbucker and Concordia neck humbucker for the perfect blend of clarity, punch, and sustain.
